Lenne comes into the story when Yuuna finds another sphere showing a person who looks like Tidus (which is Shuin). He called out "Lenne!". Out of curiosity to see if it was Tidus and to find out who Lenne is , Yuuna sets out to find out. Lenne lived in the Farplane during the era of Sin instead of living in Spira.

The character Lenne was created after the singer Koda Kumi (who sings as Lenne). Koda Kumi does look very close to Lenne and they are both singers!
