(*) The dance...

Nimsi was knocked out for three days, due to how much energy she used on her attack. Jin, Kaki, and Kinichi watched over her for the past three days until she was well.

They all went back to school after they had figured out each other's past and present states.

It was now the last day of the school year, and Nimsi was sweating like a dog in her dress for the last dance. It wasn't because of her dress being as thick as it was, it was because she knew that Jin would be there, and that seemed to make her nervous.

"Class, you're dismissed for the dance," said Mrs. Tsuko.

Everyone in the class scrambled to the door with excitement. Nimsi was the last to walk out.

Nimsi didn't meet Kaki or Kinichi on the way to the dance, so she felt awkwardly strange to walk into the dance alone.

The auditorium was dancing with red, blue, and green lights. A song was playing that made Nimsi's heart beat faster than ever. Streamer lined the walls, and everyone was talking wildly to their friends or date.

A date, Nimsi thought. Only if I had someone to be with.

The music that played suddenly went off and switched to a slow song with a rather touchy beat. Everyone seemed to lock onto someone. Only a few people stayed back- and she was one of them.

Though, out of the shadows, Jin appeared. Nimsi could see that he had on his uniform, and an expression of shock and amazement glowed in his eyes.

For on of the few moments, Nimsi felt a smile creep across her face, and she tilted her head to the side and her eyes turned to upside down smiles.

"Jin!" Kinichi's voice yelled from the crowd.

Nimsi and Jin both turned to look at her squeezing threw the large crowd.

"C'mon, Jin! Come dance with me!" She yelled, grabbing his arm and tugging him to come with her.

"I, I can't."

"Of course you can!" Tugging him for the last time, they disappeared into the crowd, leaving Nimsi with her face in disappointment and hate.

"Look, I can't dance, okay?" Jin pleaded.

"Of course you can!" Screamed Kinichi. She grabbed his hands and laid them on her hips. "Just follow my steps and you'll be fine."

"No. It's more than that,"

"What? Is it because I'm.." She laid her hand on her face,"...ugly?"

"I didn't say that." How could she be ugly? She looked just like Nimsi.

The a sudden shock crossed her face, and she started to giggle with glee.

"What's so funny?"

Kinichi stepped back from him, his hands galling from her hips.

Still giggling, Kinichi spat out: "You like Nimsi!"

Jin felt a large sweatdrop down his forehead.

"Where did you get that idea?"

"I didn't get it from anywhere. I just know."

Still giggling, she turned and ran back into the crowd.

Nimsi was now outside standing on the school's balcony.

The sky was filled with stars, and the moon's razes shot down on her face. She could hear people

talking below, and the giggling of girl as their boyfriends tickled them.

Sighing, Nimsi turned to leave. When her eyes adjusted to the light that shown in her eyes, a figure of Jin stood in the doorway. He walked toward her and leaned against the rail.

"What're you doin' out here? I was looking for you."

"I was just about to leave."

She started to walk off, but Jin grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. "Oh, no you're not. What's your problem anyway?"

Nimsi stared at him in disbelief. "So you haven't figured it out, eh?" She crossed her eyes and glared at him.

"Lord, Jin. Could you be any stupider?"

"So you can dance with a girl you don't even know, but you can't dance with me?"

"I didn't say that," he replied smoothly.

"You sure do act like it."

"Well, c'mon. Let's dance," he said, standing up.

Before Nimsi could reply, Jin scooped her up in his arms and was walking back inside.

"Jin! What are you doing?" Nimsi yelled. "Put me down, you bastard!"

They were now in the center of the dance floor, so Jin dropped her down on her feet. He laid his hands on her hips and waited for her to do her part.

Nimsi felt her face burn with embarrassment. "Jin.." She said between gritted teeth.

"Nimsi.." He said, miming her with gritted teeth. "..Dance with me."

"Ugh. All right." She laid her hands on his shoulders.

"Hey, D.J.!" Jin yelled. "Play something...slow, I guess."

Finally after what seemed like and hour, the D.J. put in a CD.

A flash of light suddenly shown down on them, and the sound of music filled the room. It was a melody of a piano and a woman singing beautifully to the tune.

"Jin, what's going on?" She asked, pulling his face closer to hers.

"What? We're only the center of attention."

"Well, maybe I don't like to be the center of attention."

"Well, maybe you should just lighten up."

Jin then twirled her, and slowly moved back and forth with her to the beat of the music.

Nimsi couldn't help but to not look at the ground.

He makes me so nervous, she though. Though, at the same time I'm.. She looked up at him and smiled. ..So happy.

After what seemed like a short dream, the music stopped and the spotlight cut off. Nimsi and Jin stood, now mixed in the crowd, staring at one another dreamily.

Oh, man. What is this that I am feeling? My chest is burning, she asked herself. I wonder what Jin is thinking?

"Well, um..I should be getting back to my room now," he said quietly.

"Yeah.." She replied, taking her rested hands from off of his shoulders. She felt his hands slip from her hips.

"Well, I guess I'll see ya' later."

"See ya'."

And with that, they both left to their rooms.
